Brimstone

I was slightly cheered up as I listened to the news from Iran ~ what a bunch of fucking idiots are running the world today ~ to see the first butterfly of 2026 in our garden. The Brimstone is one of the few butterflies which live from one year to the next, over wintering in deep hibernation under large leaves.
